Wound Care Management

Despite the use of recognized standards of care to manage chronic wounds, and physical therapy to support orthopedic interventions, a significant proportion of wounds or orthopedic post surgical procedures will not heal quickly or appropriately

Non-healing wounds/procedures present a significant cost burden to the public and private financial payer system

Poor or no treatment leads to further complications, such as hospitalizations, amputations and lowered survival prognoses for patients

The Mobile Health Company is the only service model that supports continuous care by skilled professionals

Patients increase frequency of care, compliance and healing improvement….decreasing the downstream costs of post-treatment neglect and attrition

For patients who suffer from acute and chronic wounds, a novel device has been developed – the dermaPACE System. The mechanism of action is based on shockwave technology which has been used for nearly 30 years in orthopedic treatments and lithotripsy procedures (destruction of kidney stones). These early devices also provided evidence that there was an effect on wound healing. Pulsed Acoustic Cellular Expression (PACE ) Technology was developed based on this evidence, and the dermaPACE System is the first to utilize PACE  specific proprietary protocols for wound treatment.
